ISO 9001 clauses

clause 4.1 state the general requirements required to an organization to “establish,document,implement,and maintain a quality management and continually improve its effectiveness in requirements of this International standard”

 

 

clause 4.2 \

a) documented statements of quality policy and objectives:

requirements for the quality policy are defined in clause 5.3 of ISO 9001:2008. the documented policy has to be controlled according to the requirement of clause4.2.3

b) Quality manual:

clause 4.2.2 of ISO 9001:2008 specify the minimum content of quality manual. The structure and format of the manual is a decision for each organization,and will depend on the organization’s size, culture and complexity.

c)documented procedures:

ISO 9001:2008 specifically requires the organization to have “documented procedures” for following six activities :

4.2.3 control of documents

4.2.4 control of records

8.2.2 internal audit

8.3 control of nonconforming product

8.5.2 corrective action

8.5.3 preventive action

These documented procedures have to be controlled in accordance with the requirements

of clause 4.2.3

d) Documentation needed by the organization to demonstrate the effective planning , operation and control of its processes :

In order for an organization to demonstrate the effective implementation of its QMS, it may be necessary to develop documents other than documented procedures. However, the only documents specifically mentioned in ISO 9001:2008 are :

quality policy (clause4.2.1a)

quality objectives( clause4.2.1a)

quality manual(clause4.2.1.b)

ISO 9126 clauses

ISO/IEC 9126 enables software product quality to be specified and evaluated from

different perspectives by those associated with acquisition, requirements, development, use,

evaluation, support, maintenance, quality assurance and audit of software

• validate the completeness of a requirements definition;

• identify software requirements;

• identify software design objectives;

• identify software testing objectives;

• identify quality assurance criteria;

• identify acceptance criteria for a completed software product.

• a framework for software product quality definition in the customer-supplier process;

• support for review, verification and validation, and a framework for quantitative quality

evaluation, in the support process;

• support for setting organizational quality goals in the management process.

• a framework for software product quality requirements definition in the primary lifecycle process;

• support for review, verification and validation in supporting lifecycle processes.

• support for setting quality goals;

• support for design review, verification and validation .

 

Baseline:

  1. Stakeholders (Application users) are two identical users, customer and administrator.
  2. Customer shall register their information to the database (ID, password, name, address, phone number, email, credit card number, etc)
  3. The application shall support simple search of books (by ISBN, title and author etc)
  4. User be able to order books (registered user only)
  5. Administrator shall add the inventory list.
  6. Administrator shall delete the inventory list.

Test case

: Stakeholders (Application users) are two identical users, customer and administrator.

 

Test procedure:

  1. Check whether the webpage exists for customer.

  1. Check whether the webpage separated with one for administrator exists for customer.

: Customer shall register their information to the database (ID, password, name, address, phone number, email, credit card number, etc)

  2. Check whether the menu for registration exists or not.

Test procedure:

  1. Check whether the menu for simple search exists or not.

  1. Check whether the menu for search is linked correctly.

  1. Check whether the customer be able to search books by ISBN successfully.

  1. Check whether the customer be able to search books by title successfully.

: The registered customer should be able to order a book.

  1. Check whether the menu for ordering a book exists or not.

Test result: Satisfied. 

  1. Check whether the administrator be able to order a book successfully.

: Administrator shall add the inventory list

 

Test procedure:

  1. Move to the webpage for administrator 
  2. Check whether the menu for adding and deleting exists or not.
